After all my problems still had to pay the shipping to return it.
JUNK! Took 500 mile trip using this GPS as my only means of navigation. Dumb thing to do. It turned itself off like 5 times on the way down, besides sending me on some bizare off the beaten route roads. Once there, the next morning I tryed to turn it on. NOTHING! Would not turn on, no way, no how. 3 of us tried with no response. Had to spend twice as much at a retail store to buy a Garmin so I could navigate my way around while I was there and nevermind to get us back home. The Garmin worked great by the way. Should have bought a Garmin in the first place, but I liked the AAA feature on this one. Nice feature if the piece of crap worked. Dont waste your money on this on, buy a Garmin.JUNK! I found the Magellan Roadmate 2145T-LM Automotive Mountable GPS Receiver to be an easy to use GPS. It has easy to read instructions and is very easy to set up. The features are perfect for anyone and is perfect for traveling. Whether you place it in your car when leaving your driveway, or when getting off a plane and getting into a rental car. I would recommend this GPS to anyone looking for a great and affordable GPS.I found the Magellan Roadmate 2145T-LM Automotive Mountable GPS Receiver to be an easy to use GPS. Best Bang for your Buck!
I purchased this product with the knowledge of it being used but when I received my purchase, I was extremely surprised. It looks brand new and was in the factory box. The Magellan is a perfect fit for my family's needs, easy to use and set up,great communications, bundled with free map updates and traffic, I'm extremely pleased! I have used Garmin's before and I'll put this Magellan up against them any day of the week.I purchased this product with the knowledge of it being used but when I received my purchase, I was extremely surprised. Good product, worth the money
Have a Garmin as well, and for the price, this is competitive. I like the Garmin's 200 ft warning better than this one's chimes, but otherwise it works fine. Updated the firmware and defragged the drive immediately, and all works like a charm.
