Very nicely packaged for shipping. The seller was asking me to send more money to their pay pal account due to the high cost of shipping. I refused to send more money to their account. This to me was not professional and kinda shady. Felt uncomfortable with this. Will not purchase from this seller again. I would think eBay should know about this. On the other hand the price was very fair and it is in perfect condition. Quality piece. Would have purchased again but not professional.

Plastic junk with ONE crossbar fastener
Cheap, unstable plasticky mounting hardware. I simply cannot believe YAKIMA puts their name on these. Stop a second before you empty your pockets on these poorly made, non-durable carriers. There are two upside down saddles that awkwardly rest on any shaped bar. They literally have ONE latching device that is time consuming to lock on. Wobbly at best. I am in awe that they would not have two clamps to secure it properly to the crossbars. Even on short trips, do not use without securing both ends of your boat to front and rear of car. These units rely on the length and weight of the kayak to steady them. Astronomically priced for new or used, do your research and pay a little more for anything but these.
