    Sturdy but . . .

    I would give this item 5 stars because of its apparent quality and sturdy construction but dropped back to 4 stars for the reasons that follow. Unfortunately, it will not fit any of our recliners. One of two problems exist on all five recliners. Either the recliner's handle is too small and the extender can not be attached firmly or when the handle is attached it touches the floor before the the chair is fully in the reclining position. This is a real disappointment. The product is of obvious quality construction but we can't use it. My wife is short and such a handle extension would have been so useful for her. By the way, you have to supply your own Allen wrench (hex key).

    Perfect tool to make a recliner friendly

    My MIL does not have a lot of upper or lower body strength and could not operate her recliner. Now with this extension she is able to use the recliner lever with ease. She is very happy with it and we are glad she is a little more self sufficient.
