About this product

Product Information

Electronic Arts reminded everyone that arcade-style football still has a home in the hearts and collections of gamers everywhere when it released "NFL Street." Eleven short months later came the revolutionary "NFL Street 2." For a fun, quick-fix game, "NFL Street 2" is sophisticated when it comes to the control mechanisms and depth of gameplay, and this is the hook of the entire Street franchise. There are plenty of quick payoffs and also multiple levels to master, so an expert operator on the sticks will look nothing like a novice who picks it up and has a blast on the first go.More personality, more insanity, and more outrageous aspects really drive home the arcade-style fun. The initial title was a fine effort and a pleasant surprise for those who cannot seem to get enough of the NFL virtual contact sport, but we all knew that it was just the tip of the iceberg. This iteration brings NFL players back into the game with a vengeance and supplies them with an arsenal of upgraded and completely new aspects.Gamers can utilize walls during a play to avoid tacklers when they possess the ball, run up a wall in order to fire a pass, or leap up a wall to receive a pass. Making these tricks off of posters or hotspots gives you an added bonus. All of this is on top of the pre-existing scheme of trick plays, laterals, and show-off moves from the original title. You get all of that, and then some, with the freshly added wall move logistics. As most NFL sporting gamers have come to expect, the multiplayer option is where "NFL Street 2" really gleams. The adjustable options in the head-to-head games allow you to match dedicated gaming attributes with 14 automatically selected players and measures your drafting abilities before hitting the stadium. There are tons of unlockable players in the game, including NFL stars, such as Joe Greene and Cris Carter. "Street 2" online playing offers an experience that is every bit as consistent and reliable as anything else seen from EA Sports on PS2 Online. The solo gamer can contend in the Own the City mode that arrives polished with guidance from popular rapper Xzibit. In this portion, you will build a character and battle in games and special events in order to earn points that can be utilized to upgrade and customize your team player over time. The peak accomplishment is matching up against Xzibit's team and transferring your vitalized footballer into "Madden NFL 2006." The animations are extremely impressive and an integral part of the play experience. Reading and reacting to moves that are not conventional to classic NFL standards is what makes this team game so fun.The original release date for the title was December 22, 2004. The game has been given a rating of E for Everyone. During gameplay, users have the ability to unlock cheats.

    Amazing football game!!!!

NFL Street 2 is by far the best one, Great game play and graphics to make you feel like you're playing street football. I wish that they would remaster this series in today's gaming graphics cuz I know they would be killer!!!

It keeps freezing while we try to play it

When playing nfl challenge mode with friends our favorite game mode on the street series.... it freezes every time we try to play it, this is very disappointing

  • If you can get it under $10, you can't go wrong!

This is one of my favorite football games. If you like the arcade-style football games rather than a simulation type then this is the game for you. I've played all three NFL Streets and I like this one the best. The graphics are are better on 3, but you have more gameplay options with 2. You have "Own the Street", "NFL Gauntlet" and other modes that give the game a bit of depth. It has good replay value even if your playing by yourself. The soundtrack is pretty good too. You can get this pretty cheap now, and it is a good game to have in your collection.

  • Great football game!

NFL Street 2 is a great football game! It's street football played in the yard, parking lots, and allys. EA took the first NFL Street and added lots of improvements to it. Including: 1) Double gamebreaker mode 2) Style plays - like no-look passes and behind the back catches and 3) Wall moves - You can run off the wall to avoid defenders. If you like sports games but don't like the realistic football games like Madden or NCAA then you'll probably like this game. This is a very easy game to pick up and play, but at the same time, it offers lots of challenges and options for experienced players. Pros: Great control, Great computer AI, Lots of modes to play. Cons: Can't think of any.

  • Only football game that matters

As old as this is it's still fun as hell to play how many old sports games can u say u actually want to play again this was one of em for next to blitz the league
