  • Cherrypickers' Guide

This Whitman Guidebook, by Bill Fivaz and J.T. Stanton, is an indispensable resource for any coin collector. Let's face it, you are not going to find a U.S. gold coin in your pocket change. However, it would not be uncommon to find a year 2000 Lincoln Cent with the "wide AM" reverse worth about $20. What's a "wide AM" reverse? Without the knowledge gained from this valuable resource, your question will go unanswered and someone else, with this book in hand, will be $19.99 richer. Remember, there are two volumes to this guidebook. Volume I, with a penny and a nickel on the cover, and volume II with a Morgan dollar on the cover. Buy Volume I with the penny and nickel on the cover. Volume II is for higher denomination coins that you're probably not going to find in pocket change. So, get to ...

  • CHERRYPICKERS GUIDE BRINGS BACK THE FUN OF COLLECTING

The Cherrypicker's Guide To Rare Die Varieties is one of the most exciting books to hit the coin market since I can remember. I remember buying the first edition back along time ago, and it provided hours of entertainment and fun. I was overseas doing my tour in Okinawa Japan for a year, and when you are away from family and friends, a year overseas can seem more like 50 years. I ordered the 1st edition, and could not put it down. It helped to pass the time, and even though I eventually came back home, and put it off to the side, I never forgot about it. This new 4th edition is great. It is nice to see the growth of this part of the hobby. This particular edition is Vol II, and covers half dimes on up. The pictures are great, and the information is invaluable. Weather you are just trying ...

  • Ignored and out of Date, ALWAYS!

I Recently made a Variety Discovery. It's Called 'Design Creep'. I show this coin to Whitman Publishing and they will not respond to me. How do you get a new coin into that book? There is an article in Coin World Magazine about it, but Whitman does not care. I'm not sure about them and this book is ok. I wonder what else Whitman is choosing to ignore besides my coin? How many unlisted Variety's are there? This book is good enough, but I feel they CHOOSE to ignore new things, even with supporting Specialist acknowledgment.....

  • All the info I need

Both books are in great shape. Shipping was right on time. and they were packed and wrapped up securely.
