The book was delivered in the condition the seller described. Other than highlighted marks on the first few pages, the book is in very good condition. I also received the book much faster than was anticipated at the time of the purchase. The book came in a package that protected it from further marks, etc. I am well pleased with this seller and they deserve the best review. Thank you.

Great story and information, if you're an old Schwinn junky. Wouldn't pay over $50 bucks to read it Crazy prices for a book that has been out of print for a few years Wish my brother hadn't lost my previous copy

  • Stay humble, pay attention or else

As a long time bicycle dealer, I've lived through a lot of what's covered in the book. It's a great documentary on what once was a company a the top, spiraling to the bottom.

  • Get it, read it, and learn from their mistakes.

Great read! If you are into vintage bikes from the bike boom, this book is a must. Pretty sad story on how they squandered a great company and ended up with basically nothing. In the last couple of decades, they did almost everything wrong: from not upgrading their products and manufacturing processes, to aligning with contract manufacturers without equity, to starting up a new plant without any experience in plant start ups. Amazing they lasted as long as they did.
