    Pleased as Punch!

    I have always been in to hifi. At the age of 18 I bought my first separates system. Over the years I have replaced many of the original pieces, but I still had the same amplifier. I'm now 59 so thought it about time I replaced the amp. I had been looking at the Sony for ages but by the time I made my choice Sony no longer made it. Thanks to ebay I now have the amp I wanted. The sound is clear and spacious and the sound stage well defined. If you can get hold of a remote that is a bonus. I am definately pleased with my purchase.

    A great quality of sound.

    I bought this Amp as I wanted to improve my home cinema sound system. I was already the owner of of this make of Amp for my Hi-Fi system and have been most pleased in the 20 years or more that I have owned it, the quality of the sound is as good as the first day that I bought it. I was most surprised when the same make of Amp was for sale on eBay at much less the price I had first paid and had no hesitation on purchasing. I have found the quality has not changed and compares most favourably with other quality products.

    Good value, powerful and reliable, though not quite outstanding

    The TA FE-370 is a decent budget amp if you can find it for under £50 (with the remote) or under £40 (without), and especially if you need a phono input. It has plenty of clean, clear power, but if you can get by with less, the Rotel RA-921 and the Cambridge A1 (which usually has no phono input) do sound a little more lifelike and musical at around the same price, and they're also smaller and better-looking. At the price I paid (£31.00), though, I have no complaints.
