    GA-990FXA-UD3 Motherboard

    great motherboard for AMD, 3rd one down from the top and will run the FX-9590 CPU, works the beast and easiest than any motherboard i have had, only one thing it is a 3 year or so old board and already the CD that comes with it don't work very well with windows 10 and a lot of the programs for some of the specialties on the motherboard don't work, some of the this you can find your self or they just aren't needed anyway, just call it a motherboard that works good, a used one without the CD you only get the 4 software apps for windows 10 at the gigabyte website or find a CD for it, i happened to get a new one with everything so luckily i got the CD

    990XA-UD3 r5 in good condition,works accordind to specs

    First of all, the product I was buying was not anymore available. I accepted to replace it by a similar product 990XA-UD3 R5, with less capabilities.It works well as is. The slowness is bound to the storage media ( hdd at present time) try to improve with ssd. On the previous FXA it was possible to use NVMe with a bios modified, it worked just fine... It seems, it is not possible to do on this old board. It the game!

    All in all this board works as it should. If you get a REV. 3 or better.

    I replaced an older board to go a long with my wife's AMD Phenom II 1090T. Likes: The BIOS are easy to setup and do some light overclocking, 3.7GHz. It runs cool and have no heat issues at all. Dislikes: Only 4 fan headers. Placement of headers are odd and the always on USB charge does not work, I've installed the software for it and still will not charge when the system is off or in standby. I don't see this as big deal. But would be nice for it to work. If your planing on picking one these boards up MAKE SURE you get at lest get a REV.3 or REV.4 lower REV's has problems. I picked it for $75.00. If you can afford it go with the GA-990FXA-UD5, if you plan on using an FX processor. The 990FX-UD3 is fine for a Phenom II or older processor. All in all this board works as it should. ...

    Great mobo!

    This is a great mobo for a good price. I only had 1 issue, I run linux and the USB ports didnt want to work right in the OS until I enabled IOMMU in the bios. Overall this was a great board for a great price. This did not come with the I/O plate for the ports/back of the computer but I was able to find one for cheap. If I would have bought this brand new I would have spent over twice as much.

    Gigabyte 990 Series

    This is my flagship motherboard. It is # 1 of all motherboards in my book. I install a AMD FX-4350. Talk about fast. The cpu is running at 4.2 GHZ.. I use a Patriot SSD Hard Drive. I use HyperX Fury 1866mhz memory. Evga graphics card and a evga power supply. I highly recommend this motherboard.
