This box set is clearly and simply a honored treasure to own. It is a landmark in both her amazing musical career and in the world of contemporary music itself. It is a gift from her that becomes not only instantly collectible, but will fast become an heirloom - passed from one generation to another. There are only a few milestones like this ever produced in my opinion by the music industry at large. This is easily one of them. A true Gem
This is an exceptional and rare CD; the songs, the sounds and the additional artists make this collection a pleasure to own and listen to. The sound quality and selections are extraordinary. I'm glad I accidentially found out about it via ebay in time to give my husband as a Christmas gift. Emmy is his favorite and he is very pleased with the gift.

Very disappointed
There is a reason these songs were never released before...some of them are downright horrible. I love Emmylou Harris so I was hoping for some great stuff that I had never heard before. It didn't help that the third CD was empty, but that is not the artist's fault. In a way I was relieved not to have to listen to more of these recordings.
