Faulty EGR valve. Do not buy!
Installed this onto my honda pilot minutes before leaving for a long 800 mile trip and just 20 miles into my journey, the check engine light comes on. Reset the light three times and drove a few more miles thinking that the car must aclimate to the new part and to no avail. Went to the nearest auto parts store and purchased an EGR valve for $120 and spent more money and now no more check engine light. This Dorman EGR valve caused me a four hour delay in my trip and also caused me and my passengers a whole lot of stress and grief and nearly ruined our weekend.Installed this onto my honda pilot minutes before leaving for a long 800 mile trip and just 20 miles into my journey, the check engine light comes on. Bad EGR
I had to take it out twice because the actuated valve fell off twice. I got the check engine light twice. The coffee said” low egr air flow “ both times the threads came out and the valve was laying in the floor pretty.
