STARGATE INFINITY is an animated show that imagines a world where human and aliens live side by side. The show is a spin-off from the STARGATE SG-1 series (itself a spin-off from the 1994 feature STARGATE) in which a device is discovered that can open up wormholes in the universe, allowing people to travel to faraway planets. The events in STARGATE INFINITY revolve around Major Gus Bonner, who travels through the galaxy with his team of recruits in an attempt to clear his name after being framed by hostile aliens. This release includes every episode from the short-lived show, which first aired in 2002.

Not Meant for The Stargate SG1 Fan
This is a cartoon series based off of Stargate SG1 (SG1), the popular Sci-Fi series which opens the people of Earth to a new universe of races, planets, and bad guys. I believe none of the people involved in the production of Stargate Infinity (SI) are associated with the original TV series (SG1). It tells the tale of Gus Bonner, a Stargate solider who has been accused of insubordination and faces a court martial. He is framed further for an invasion of Stargate Command by a alien species called the Tlak'khan, giant lizard like people. He goes out into the Stargate universe on the quest to clear his name and return to Earth. The cartoon was made for kids, thats clear. Each episode seems to be built to teach a moral lesson of some sort, like one episode concerning a person's ... Some cover World History. All the episodes end up having Bonner and his team end up using the Stargate to another world and somehow end up fighting the Tlak'khan. It gets monotonous after the first couple episodes and I ended up skipping from the 4th episode to the last episode made. The series never got enough popularity and ended up being cancelled, never having a chance to end the plot line. The computer graphic animation (CGI) was good and the sound effects were some familiar ones from the SG1 series like the zatt gun activiating (they used it for the stargate activation). If you're a diehard SG1 fan, don't bother buying this unless you wanna create the ultimate Stargate collection.
