About this product

Product Information

Formed in Norway in the 1990s, riotous rock act Turbonegro was reminiscent of rock, punk, and glam-metal bands from earlier decades. While their members were all Norwegian, they set themselves apart from other Scandinavian bands of the time by writing their songs entirely in English. This documentary chronicles the band's dissolution and subsequent reunion in 2002, including live material from that year's Bizarre and Quart festivals. RESERECTION also features backstage and interview footage with several Turbonegro band members.

  • Turbonegro saved Rock 'N' Roll.

Turbonegro is easily one of the best bands around today. They took all the lessons from the past and created a form of music that is much as their own as it is bands that were but precursors to them. Taking obvious influence from such greats as The Rolling Stones, Black Flag, AcDc, The Stooges, Alice Cooper, The Dictators, The Ramones and many others they have created albums which are classic. A review could never do this band justice. One simply just must listen to them and it will become evident that there is simply no other band like them past or present. They are F*CKING BRILLIANT. This DVD has some live footage as well as a great movie about the return of the band. -iwherepants
