You'll love it or hate it.
The music on this CD was originally a cassette for members of Sonic Death, the Sonic Youth fanclub. It's various recordings from 1981-1983 spliced together in classic Sonic Youth experimental style. A lot of feedback and noise, tapes being played back at altered speeds, squeels from old cassette deck stop and start points, and many other noises and audio oddities will please die-hard Sonic Youth noise addicts, but annoy fans of the more ethereal and/or pop styles of later Sonic Youth. The disc is divided into either 1 or 2 tracks, depending on the release you find, so it's really not suited for ipod use. This disc will either be a 5 star favorite or a 1 star disappointment. I give it 5. If you're a fan of the album "Confusion Is Sex" you'll probably enjoy hearing the songs done live. If ...
