The price for this video card was worth me buying from ebay by just it self!

Had these type of video cards as dual for some the fastest system I built for the battlefield admin sires! A very good video card for gaming, but excellent as a single for NOC Techs!

  • EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 896 MB

I decide to buy this Item after extensive research in the internet. After looking at numerous reviews I felt that this VGA is a great card. Its best rival was ATI HD4870 and most of the times GTX260 overpowered it. Considering the other GTX260 vendors, this VGA has a good place among them. But there are has some flaws such as support only for DirectX 10 and shader model 4 compared to it's ATI rival. Overall this VGA card is good for moderate to heavy hazel free gaming experience with relatively lower power consumption and at a lower cost. Specs Performance - NVIDIA 55nm GTX 260 Core 216 576 MHz GPU 216 Processing Cores 400 MHz RAMDAC Memory - 896 MB, 448 bit 1998 MHz (effective) 111.9 GB/s Memory ...

  • GTX 260 Core 216 896MB GDDR3

I am writhing this review for the card that I purchased but also as a general review of it as well. The Pros - The GTX 260 was the entry level card in the GTX 200 series, which made it a very affordable upgrade from my card at the time. The card that I received from this seller was actually a bit older than the one that I had originally bought. Works fantastic for the semi-gamer who wants it all to look better than his console, and isn't a power hog. It only needs a 500W PSU to be happy. Cons - The only draw back is that this card is not directX 11 and it is a weak card when compared what you can find in its price range. New it was a steal, but that is why I wanted to get another one. Other - I have been gathering pieces to build a newer machine to accomplish what I had set out to do ...

  • Great card overall, $/performance is good, decent overclocking potential.

So far, this thing has been great... was building a cost/performance oriented rig (Supermicro X7DWT, 4GB DDR2 667 FB-DIMMS, 2x Xeon 5148 @ 2.33GHz) all strewn out on my desk, as this won't fit in a normal case). This card is able to run 1920x1080 in all of the older games i've played (Mostly Counter-Strike Source), with Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic filtering turned up fairly high. Upgrading to a BSEL modded Xeon L5420 (now running at 3.2GHz vs 2.5Ghz stock) has yielded a 3DMark Vantage score of around 11,000, thanks to the overclocking potential of the CPU and this video card. I have two now, so I can do some SLI when I get a board with more than 1 PCI-E slot (major disadvantage to the above mentioned X7DWR, which also lacks a sound card) Highly recommended product.

  • Great for video apps as well as games

This card is great when compared to 3d graphics and hd video apps compared to my quadro fx 1400. It opens and jumps to points in video's instantly. The 2d graphics reported in the benchmark test are how ever much slower then my old card but I honestly dont think 2d graphics are important for most people anyway and from normal use I only notice much improvement with out any sighn of anything being slower. I am not a big gamer but I do alot with video and I love love love the way video's start playing the second I doublew click them rather then the several second pause that every other card has given me.
