    It's literally just an IDE hard-drive.

    Only issue with this product is that it's shipping time was upsettingly long, was expecting to get an old machine up and running within the week, yet as its coming from china, it's taken weeks to arrive. No compliants about the unit itself though, it functions as it should. again, it's just a hard-drive.

    Old technolgy for an old laptop

    This HD is to replace one that died in an old Win XP laptop. Seems to work well but my uses are seldom so will not get heavy duty use. So far very pleased.
