    Quality craftmanship

    This is a great mild razor that tames Feather blades, which are renown for being some of the sharpest blades for a DE razor. Some say that only the Feather blades makes the razor work, but others say that the GSB, Kai and BIC does the job. So far the GSB (Gillette Silver Blue), BIC and Feather works for me in the razor. Where they give good mild shaves, if you angle the razor right. It requires a 45 degree angle, which is different from your regular DE razors. Where you should aim for a 30 degree angle by comparison. Its real hard to cut yourself with it, unless you mess up the angle and get unlucky. While best case scenario you are left only feeling a bit sore on the area. The stand it comes with is very heavy, also being made from stainless steel. The price may be steep for some, but ...

    FEATHER RAZOR IS SPECTALAR

    This is a SPECTACULAR razor. It is very mild compared to my very nice stainless steel OUTLAW by Executive Shaving. The Feather makes the Outlaw look Aggressive. The Feather is very mild and you can get very close and along the grove of the upper lip. Moreover, you can get very close to the lip. I would find that hard with the Outlaw. The Feather is also easier to shave the bottom and rounded portion of the chin. The Outlaw is better at shaving the flat surfaces of the side of the face. The Feather Razor is Spectacular and very mild. Coupled with the Farther Blade it gives a remarkable shave.

    Wonderful Razor

    I have been searching for a great razor and this is it. Paired with a Feather blade the AS-D2 is so smooth and gives me that best shave that I have had in quite awhile.

    Worth it? Yes!

    I’ve had my eye on the Feather AS-D2 for a while. I’ve enjoyed shaving with a vintage Gillette Tech for years. I finally decided to treat myself after a year of compliance with Covid-19 restrictions. Until one has this razor in one’s hand and shaves with it, one simply can not understand how good it is.
