    Make your Core 2 machine much faster for less with this SSD.

    Very good performing SSD and an excellent value ($ per GB). Norton AntiVirus full scan went from 15 min to 7 min. Now my Core 2 Quad boots up Windows 7 in about half the time. Energy efficient and doesn't create heat. Big speed boost for Core 2 Duo also. The 128 GB size is perfect in a Desktop that also has an HDD. Load Windows and all Application Software on the SSD for FAST execution and store all Data files, Downloads, and System Backups on the HDD. So keep your HDD and mate it to an SSD in your Desktop PC for a very effective set-up. Highly recommended. This is not the Retail Version (Crucial M4), so try to find one that states Firmware Rev "070H" on the Label. That is the latest. Crucial M4 Firmware Rev 070H Update will NOT work on the Micron C400 even though they are basically the ...

    Not bad for the Money

    These are older ssd's with some of the downsides of the older jmicron ssd's. extremely erratic write speeds BUT its still a good value ssd @$35. Realistically you're purchasing these 2nd hand to save some money while upgrading a lower/mid end PC from a spinner drive. Understandable, which is why you arent getting modern high speed ssd performance here, but its still WAY above a spinner. Go for it. That or spend the extra $15-20 for a brand new high speed ssd of this generation with the same capacity.
