Synopsis
How two centuries of Indigenous resistance created the movement proclaiming "Water is life" In 2016, a small protest encampment at the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota, initially established to block construction of the Dakota Access oil pipeline, grew to be the largest Indigenous protest movement in the twenty-first century. Water Protectors knew this battle for native sovereignty had already been fought many times before, and that, even after the encampment was gone, their anticolonial struggle would continue. In Our History Is the Future , Nick Estes traces traditions of Indigenous resistance that led to the #NoDAPL movement. Our History Is the Future is at once a work of history, a manifesto, and an intergenerational story of resistance.

- l***c (99)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchasePackage was just delivered today, 7/18/25. Quick response. Item condition and appearance as described. Very well packed. Good communication . 5 stars. Excellent transaction.
- a***6 (1747)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseI like Go peachy used them before I got a good price on the 4k movies. The shipping time was only 3 days. However I was unaware a signature was required for my shipment it doesn’t say that anywhere. IMO that needs to be an option for the buyer. I understand it gets the package to the seller but I had to travel to the post office today and I was sick. Great company but give the buyer a heads up on the SIG tracking, not everyone is home all day, just put it into the mailbox.
