    1 year into ownership review

    After owning this product for a year, I can say the battery has lasted longer than expected. It's not a Commercial Security Camera so don't expect those features (or the price) that comes along with very high-end cameras. Yet for home ownership, it works great and it's easy to use. It's recommended to re-format the USB flash storage each time you recharge the camera. Example photo below: We saw every time a package was delivered. We also saw the cat strolling through.

    Solar charger is the way to go with the 1860 batteries.

    Solar charger is the way to go, seal the USB cord with rtv, remove the batteries that are in camera. You will need to remove and charge them. Mine came dead. They are two on eBay, one with batteries, one without. Has long cord no more expensive batteries. Mine is working great.

    Love it!

    Love this camera kit. The set-up is simple, but the I had to turn down the sensitivity more than once as it was picking up motion as cars drove by on the street. The picture is excellent, both day and night.
