Sacbeob - Escritos latinoamericanos (2010), condensaba el acercamiento a América Latina, que Europa se obstina a considerar el sur del mundo, relataba acerca de la libertad personal conquistada contra los esquemas europeos del compositor, que el sistema induce a competir de forma individualista en prestigiosos concursos internacionales para acapararse el premio más conspicuo y tantas distinciones. El nuevo horizonte es la música latina local, con instrumentos por revalorizar y una fuerte identidad por proteger. Sin un sentido de inferioridad con respecto al estilo composicional e instrumental a la europea que se impone como único modelo a seguir. Diario sudamericano - Viaje entre ritos, música y naturaleza (2011) es en algún sentido la continuación de este itinerario. Así, el proyecto Germina.Cciones... - primaveras latinoamericanas , activado en los años anteriores con la intención de sumar artistas latinoamericanos, dio frutos abundantes, indujo a crear, compartir, confrontarse y presentar las obras. Belcastro es un auténtico viajero, siente la necesidad de alcanzar los límites del espacio y la naturaleza, a veces regresa a algunos lugares que le eran familiares y descubre el cambio dictado por el transcurrir del tiempo, otras veces se encanta frente a la magnificencia poderosa de la naturaleza y siente vibrar la fuerza profunda de los elementos. Un luto estremecedor estalla en el fondo de su sensibilidad, una nueva página debe ser escrita después de este quiebre repentino con el pasado y con sus raíces. Como un redivivo Ulises, Belcastro debe llegar a los confines para poder regresar a casa, debe descubrir lo que los demás ignoran, debe tocar el peligro y la magia del descubrimiento, debe maravillarse frente a la belleza del mundo y la miseria de la degradación antes de que pueda poner de nuevo un pie en su tierra de origen. Pero sabe que es sólo un retorno temporal, un retorno que es el preludio de una nueva salida, un retorno que entibia el corazón pero reabre viejas heridas. El viaje continúa... Luca Belcastro (Como, Italia - 1964) ganó importantes concursos de composición y participó en renombrados festivales en Europa, Estados Unidos y Extremo Oriente. Desde el año 2007 viaja a América Latina donde dio forma al proyecto Germina.Cciones... - primaveras latinoamericanas . La editorial italiana Moretti&Vitali publicó el CD monográfico Germinación y canto (2004) y las obras literarias Sacbeob - Escritos latinoamericanos (2010), Diario Sudamericano - Viaje entre ritos, música y naturaleza (2011) y la novela Abel Soledad (2013).
