    H & R Block Tax Software 2019

    We used H & R Tax Software for many years...that's why we purchased again for 2019.... easy to use. I did have a little problem loading the 2019 software on a up to date Windows 10 computer. After some persistence, it finally loaded.

    Make sure you keep a pdf of your return and all worksheets because the new version cannot read the old return's worksheets.

    I don't really know what's wrong with this version, but I have not been happy with it. I was unable to install it with the CD, and ended up having to download it using the code in the CD pack. I did my federal taxes, and submitted them and they were rejected. Apparently, there was something from my 2018 taxes that was not downloaded into the new version. I tried to get on-line help, but they were worthless. I am going to have to wait until I can get home(2 months from now) and reinstall the 2018 version so that I can see what the feds want carried over from 2018. I will then have to manually input the info from a previous worksheet into this year's return. In the meantime I am forced to get an extension.

    Great product.

    Switched from Turbo when they took away stock trades from their Deluxe software edition. Haven't been sorry since. I find that H&R block is easier to use and is less complicated.
