    Lighter successor to G5/G500 series.

    Was looking for something similar to the Logitech G5 gaming mouse. MX518 shares the same shell design, but has fewer features. No adjustable weight, no left and right tilt on mouse wheel. Works very well, feels good in the hand. Customizable DPS settings with software is a good addition. Good value for the price.

    MX 518

    I've used a variation of the mx 518 for over 10 years now (since one came with my asus g74) and the only real problem i have is the rubberized coating will eventually delaminate from the mouse, this mouse replaces one that i have used for a decade that the scroll wheel finally quit on.

    It's a good mouse. I don't like the scroll wheel as much as the original MX518, which it replaced. The presets, higher dpi, and the light weight cable make up for the crunchy scroll wheel.

    This is a very good quality Logitech mouse. It has buttons that can change the input resolution on the top of the mouse, withing easy reach of the index finger. This mouse is best for graphics work, where the resolution needs to be adjusted to precisely locate the pointer on a small detail. I highly recommend this item.

    The MX518 is the pinnacle mouse and this gaming version of it is top notch. It fits great for holding onto and moving around, is sharp, adjustable, and the cable is light as well. It looks nice, and the roller is smooth. The back and forward buttons are useful in various contexts, and the fact that buttons can be switched up is nifty. Logitech has done well on a variety of their products, and this has been one of their top ones. The original MX518 that I had lasted for a very long time.
