Conditions of items were better than expected, matching the description well. Shipping was included in the price and the packaging helped to protect the items. Overall, the value was there, and seller accepted my best offer after some negotiation. A+

Purchased on Sunday, the 8th of June 2025, Package arrived safely just over a week later on Monday, the 16th of June 2025. The item was exactly as shown in the photographs and the disc condition was as described. Case was in great shape, and disc in great shape. It was listed as 'very good', but honestly it's nearly like new. No blemishes on the case or dvd at all. Very happy with the purchase, I will have to keep an eye on the shop for future purchases. Thank you very much.

One of the best movie ever

One of the Best Films of all time fantastic cimeatography a quote from GOOGLE Primarily due to the excellent acting by its stars, Aimée and Jean-Louis Trintignant and the beautiful musical score, the film became an international success, winning both the Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 1966 and two Oscars including Best Foreign Language Film. I have added this movie to my collection. I have Loved it for years.

  • A favorite

Although this an older (1966) French movie that is dubbed/subtitled in English, it is still amazing to watch. Dialogue is limited the story being told as much with body language, scene staging, and use of black and white and color photography. The two central characters have tragically lost their spouses, and each in different states of recovery, meet. This movie had a sequel made as a twenty year follow-up that is more available, but no where near as good as the first movie.

  • The title sums up the movie. It is definitely about the lived of a man and a woman who are really in love.

I saw this movie in 1966. I enjoyed it more today than I did back then. I guess I am more mature today than I was then. I am 77 years old now and can relate more with the characters. .I caught tears in my eyes watching this. I liked it so much that I bought "A Man and a Woman Twenty Years Later." and throughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately I cannot find the third movie of this series "The Best Years of a Life."

  • A Realistic French Affair in which the Man is Honest and True.

Greetings !! This ( A Man and A Woman ) is one of the most romantic and realistic films ever made ( Although it did concern the Catholic Legion of Decency). It shows the enormous hurdles individuals who have lost partners must leap over in order to re-engage with new friends and society itself. Way beyond 'Love Story' or 'Endless Love' (which speak to youthful college-age couples), this film demonstrates that you may have an interesting daily Routine, but still not be engaged in living a full life.
