      The War To End All Wars!!

      23 June 2016: Thursday: Hello Folks: An excellent historical movie of the First World War. Russell is a gifted & farsighted actor/director!! He shows both the Aussie & then the Turkish view-points of this landing of British Imperial & Commonwealth Troops, to fight the Ottoman Empire, allied to Imperial Germany. I learned alot about the un-written rule used by both sides, of take no prisoners, & shoot the wounded. Another Dvd worth watching is (((( All The Kings Men )))) , another view-point, also { take no prisoners }, of this ill-fated British assault against the Turkish Army. . It appears everyone suffered from the bloody harsh trench warfare conditions. Will we never learn or do we human-being just love to repeat history!! Cheers: Charles.

      Heartwrenching at times, funny at times, romantic at times. Fantastic characters. Recommend this movie to men and women alike. Action scenes are great. Has good historical information. I have watched the movie twice and will watch again. This is a movie that never gets old.

      Water diviner.

      I had wanted to see this movie since its release and I was glad that I did. It is by no means a Academy Award winner however, I still enjoyed many aspects of the film. I felt it did a great job of showing the cultures of the people and how war devastates everyone involved and it was only through the perceived enemy that the main character was shown compassion, empathy and in the end, love. I enjoyed many aspects of this movie. It is by no means a Academy Award winner however, I enjoyed the characters as well as the perspective of the perceived enemy who in the end was no enemy at all. War devastates all involved and there is no winner. love.
