      Good entry level system at it’s price point.

      Good basic system but has it’s limitations. The BLX2 body pack is a little delicate but I actually prefer it’s light weight and just exercise a little care with it. Definitely worth the couple extra bucks to go with the BLXR receiver for the external antennas and know the available frequencies in your area before you buy. If you live in a highly RF congested area you may want to consider going to the next level systems to give you more available channels to use. I have 4 of these systems and for my application I am very satisfied.

      Excellent Mic for the price.

      I am a huge fan of the Shure BLX series, you can't beat the quality of the BLX1 for the price though it does have some notable flaws such as a plastic construction and a ver flimsy antenna. I have used the BLX1 with both BLX4R and regular BLX4, I personally recommend the "R" series base because the external antennas help immensely with range, though for smaller shows the regular base will do.
