      Great, powerful unit

      Using this to power a Wouxun KG 1000G+ GMRS mobile radio as a base station. Works very well. You can hear the fan when it comes on, but it is barely noticeable. Adjustable voltage, USB charging ports and voltage & amp meters on the from are nice. A couple of minor cons: 1) markings on the meters is small & hard to read, 2) instructions said there were holes in the posts to attach your wires--there were not, so I had to twist mine on. Overall-well-built unit that I would buy again.

      Causes rf noise in radio equipment

      tried to use on an amateur radio setup and when powered on it cause massive rf interference in the receive. Maybe I just got a bad one, but who knows. I went a different route and bought another brand.

      Source of noise for HF bands and unexpected behavior

      Well, this power supply is a source of noise on some HF bands (I do have a correct electrical setup with grounding) Curiously, if you turn it off , hen it would not immediately turn on until a random amount of time, I need to disconnect from the outlet to make that happens, no alarms, no nothing, hard to reproduce the error When it finally turn on, it handle loads with more than 40A without problems, but hurry up, because it will disconnect at the worst moment
