    Buyer saw the damage on box . Buyer accepts this. The problem is this seller shipped the item in a plastic bag. A collectible item in a plastic bag. Yes he used cardboard over the plastic front . The item got damaged worse. I could not put a claim in because the previous damage was visible in the pictures. Buyers be warned this is how the seller shipped. Ebay before you redact , this is an honest experience with this seller. Buyers have a right to know how this seller conducts business.

    we literally wrapped the new in box item in extra cardboard and placed it in a over sized poly bag which adds padding what more can we do ? You could have messaged us about this also. as a seller what more can we do ?

    Convenient

    I use these locks on all of my AirBnB units to reduce the need for physical keys. They work great. I chose the locks that are not WiFi capable bcause I've heard that if WiFi goes out, the unit loses battery because it keeps searching for the signal. These are bluetoothe enablled so I still have to physically reset the code between guests.

    It would be good if it worked with anything other than a key.

    It would be better if it worked with anything other than a key. The only good thing I found about it was I could change the key to match the door lock so I only need 1 key. Two phones and two pads can't find the lock so bluetooth is useless. The keypad turns red no matter what I do, so forget setting a code and getting in if I loose my keys. When I push a button on the inside of the unit I get no beep that tells it's ready to program. The only thing electrical that works is when the battery is taken out and put back in the bolt will activate and close then open. Oh yes there is a green flashing light that flashes all the time. As to the build quality it's a solid lock and I trust it as much as any deadbolt lock. With a key it opens and locks smoothly. That's the only reason it isn't in the ...

    Stay away from Kwikset-defective-factory promises-promises-and NOTHING!

    Fails to link up via bluetooth app-starts out they want an active credit card so you can d/l and activate the app to operate your lock.Really a very poor company. Very sorry I tried kwikset-they admit a part is defective and it has been a week with no info. on if/when they will send replacement parts. Never had a problem with Schlage and the way this is looking I will have to buy a Schlage digital lock again to get the door to work with a keypad!
