  • Third Stage by Boston

8 Years. It took Boston 8 years to put out their third studio album, a follow up to their wildly successful self-titled debut album Boston, released in 1976, and their sophomore effort Don't Look Back released 2 years later in '78. But now the year was 1986 and Boston had spent the last 6 of those 8 years off in preparation for this release. Third Stage, the last Boston album to feature Brad Delp as lead singer, is unquestionably the band's strongest, most concise, and far to often overlooked masterpiece. A decade after they hit the scene with Boston, this band, who lost half of their original members by this point, had evolved and matured to a point where, despite taking 6 years to produce, they released an album that was so polished, so perfect in every note that it ...

  • One of the Greatest Albums of All TIME!

This is one of my favourite abulms of all time incredibly masterminded by tom sholz & brad delp (im sorry about brad) ..Boston is a favourite group of mine with an unique amazing sound and Brads wonderful voice makes for astronomical dimension of music & lyric.. Not Way Out! but Deep Within! Soothing and relaxing Hard Rock ! ... "cantcha say" [you believe in me] is a great & outstanding tune , "Amanda" A Classic!!!.."We're Ready" awesome Rocksound!!!..not many albums can be bought that every song blends as well and every song is Great on One Album ....get A copy Today!

  • god CD

this is a good CD. has a few of Boston hits on it. very good music from the 70s. Boston was big in the 70s. such hits as Holly anne, on it. I used to listen to this album when I was in a night club. too bad they closed that club. that was because the club owners land lord sold out from under him. that club owner still operates a few small businesses to this day. this CD also got a lot of play on Album oriented FM Radio. originally on LP; later on CD.

  • Boston-Third Stage

An epic journey of music about love and decency. I can't describe how touching this record(cd)is. It's not all the original members. Which is a shame, but we know how that goes. The track My Destination is possibly the saddest three minutes of music ever recorded. Props to Tom Scholz, Brad Delp, Gary Pihl, and Jim Masdea for this treasure. Brad, we love you and we will miss you, until we meet again.
