Great time capsule of late 70's / early 80's Las Vegas
This is what Las Vegas was like before it became the over built, over hyped amusement park nightmare it is today. This show captured a moment in time that has been gone for 40 years now and will never return. Robert Urich stars as charming and affable private detective Dan Tanna, as are the rest of the cast regulars. If you're familiar with 60's and 70's television, you'll be blown away by the endless appearances of many well known and soon to be famous actors in same and big roles. Then there's Dan's pad and car. He lives in one of the coolest man cave bachelor pads in TV history which also doubles as his garage. This is where he parks his red 1957 Ford Thunderbird. Dan is often seen driving his T-Bird down Fremont Street in downtown Vegas. Hard to believe you could actually drive down ... The DVD packaging is adequate but there is no booklet with series info other than a list of all the episodes on the inside cover. The episodes appear to have been remastered with sharp and clear picture quality. Another big plus are the episode promos with accompany every episode. The viewer has the option of watching these or not. No gamble here, this set is definitely worth the price of admission.

No crumby commercials
Great to see these series that were on when I was young but to busy providing for a family to watch. I think Bea was one of the main attractions. I find the scripts were generally enjoyable considering I’m an old White male and recent films seem anti-White patriotic male these days. I’m 72 and active so it is goodbto relax with this great entertaining series and no crumby commercials.

I always liked Robert Urich. He was very believable here. The location was great. The cast was well rounded. Love Phyllis and Judy. Very attractive. Wish Will was in more episodes. Tony Curtis was interesting in his role.
