    Decent product

Didn't know it was plastic when I ordered it. It fit well after some trimming at the starter and using a different screw on one of the holes since my transmission didn't have the 4th hole this cover needed to mount. Happy with it. Hopefully it won't melt from exhaust heat

    Not a bolt on...

If you expect this to be a five minute install, guess again... since it is a "fits all" it doesn't fit anything without work. The mounting holes are slotted for adjustment (nice) but the hole size is not big enough for the actual mounting screws. My cover came sheet metal screws for mounting. I have never seen a flywheel cover mounted with sheet metal screws- throw them away. GM transmissions use 1/4"X20 machine screws. The cover has no cut out for the starter so you will have to cut it out yourself. There are no templates provided so if you want a nice fit you will be under your car 20 times before you get this to fit like the factory metal cover (not so nice). My cover was also warped so it took some twisting to get it to fit right. The plastic is thick enough, has a good surface ...

  • Exact OEM fit!

This fits just like a brand new factory piece that came with the car. Solved a problem for me where the Previous Owner trashed this cover ... And dare I say, for cheap!

  • It kind of works but it is cheap ..

It is better than having no Dust cover but was a challenge to get prefect.. Made a cut out for the starter in about 30 seconds with a hack saw, drilled two holes for the top mounts through all was good .. Started the Engine horrible racket .. The high Torque starter i was using pushed the plastic on to the fly wheel .. Trimmed the bit that was hitting the fly wheel re-installed .. Repeated this 5 times .. Finally it is quiet.. Would I buy another probably.. If I could not get a factory or cheapo chrome one to fit..

  • Flywheel cover

Price was great. Had to heat and form the cover in two places for it to fit. Also had to widen the attachment holes. After 23 years in my own repair shop I came to expect that parts being advertised to fit properly would do just that. It's on now so I can go on to other things.
