    Excellent RAID controller.

    I have used this for my hp dl380 G7 (X1800 storage). and has added it to the onboard raid controller, for extending the drive cage to 16. Much better than using a SAS expander. And yes you can use more than one RAID card. It is better then the onboard card, as it can have a raid0 of more than 1tb, I have made raid 0 to a 2tb drive collection, and is solid.
