    Keeps You Entertained

    I stay glued to the tv every time i cut this on. I don't want it to end because it gives me something exciting to watch. As someone who only uses free tv, i love to find new tv series that is worth the money i pay for them, and this one truly is. Always hate that they arent 10-15 years worth.

    Loved the books, not the tv series

    After the first episode, I felt dread… is this what I can expect from the tv adaptation of a book series that was utterly awesome? I’ve made it partly through four episode when I finally said it’s not worth my time. The characters are utterly stereotyped, predictable and formulaic. They have no personality, no depth, and the acting is wooden. The plot is utterly boring. What could have been an amazing show was turned into something without vision and utterly styleless.

    Excellent Series

    The Strain is one of the best horror stories Guillermo Del Toro created and that is saying a lot because they are all good. The effects are superior, the actors are very believable, and the setting makes the story more surreal. I like watching series on DVD at my leisure.

    A horrifying experience

    One of the best 4 seasons vampire series ever produced in my opinion. Those vampires were gross. Guillermo Del Toro is one of the best director ever. I'm still watching his work on Hellboy and Cronos. I highly recommend this horror series to any avid vampire geeks.
