    Excellent quality and superior rolling resistance

    I've used Continental tires for years because I find them to be superior in just about every way. These (new-to-me) tires have a new compound, making them grippy, yet also have exceptionally low rolling resistance. The have 2 Vectran belts, which improves puncture resistance without adding that much weight to the tire. They might be expensive - as are Michelin or Schwalbe - but I'll continue to use them.

    622-25 tires

    I went from 622-23 to these 622-25's based on an article I read about rolling resistance. These have less and I notice a tweak up in my speed on a daily route. My second criterion for tires is puncture resistance. These have a very high rating. I have had no issues after putting these on last week. Have logged about 100 miles on them.

    Well built, durable fairly smooth riding

    Compared to the Hutchinson Fusion 25mm the same width Grand-Prix 4 is not as smooth, particularly over rough roads, but I know its more resistant to cuts and punctures which is why I bought it.

    Trying these out for the winter months

    Wanted something a little grippier for winter than the GP5000's on my road bike. Not snow, got a gravel bike for that, but wet pavement, slush, and cold temps. So far so good, roll almost as easy as the 5000s and more secure on wet pavement. Taken some hard hits with no flats or slices, that's good.
