    High quality starter

    Definitely would recommend. Comes with instructions that are easy to follow. I use 2lt soda bottles, cleaned with rubbing alcohol and rinsed well. I use one gallon jugs of distilled water from the grocery store(Haven't had the need to sterilize this water) mixed with IO salt and the F/2 in this kit. Have had great results so far.

    Better than water

    I don't use this in a reef tank like most people. I use a little of this as a base instead of water to feed my daphnia culture. Also when feeding frozen blood worms or shrimp or whatever to my puffers, darios, and paracyprichromis it seems to attract the fish better than plain water, Easy to culture. Highly recommended for freshwater tank use.

    Great Phyto culture!

    This kit is the way to go. I turned ome bottle into almost a half gallon in about 10 days. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I still have nearly an entire bottle of f2 left because I only used 1ml to grow what I have now. Great value.
