Excellent Value, Plenty Bright, Durable Construction
It is only rated IP64(not technically waterproof), so curious to see how it stands up to my rain commuting. Otherwise the rubber strap is pretty versatile, and it also swivels on its mount- which is almost a MUST as I've discovered. Wish the strap was a little longer honestly. And to echo most other reviewers, it would get 5 stars, but it's not detachable from the mount. The whole shebang needs to come off. And you definitely do not want to leave this light on outside the supermarket. Excellent light, marred by mickey mouse mounting system
Light itself is excellent, at least when new. Very bright, nice diffused beam pattern. Unfortunately, the mounting system is garbage. What were they thinking? Sure, it fits a wide variety of handlebars and it doesn't rattle, but it also does a lousy job of holding the light in position. I have crutched mine into working acceptably by locking the yaw (lateral rotation) adjustment with RTV and mounting the lights (I use two) snugly against the stem clamp, but they still wiggle more than I'd like and I'm dubious about the system's longevity.Light itself is excellent, at least when new.
