    Perfect, beware of industry non-standard 520 bytes sector size; needs reformatting under Linux.

    Works like a charm as those drives are for heavy duty enterprise use. However, the need to be formatted with a 512 bytes sectors in order to work with a regular server. This can be easily achieved on CentOS Linux.

    Refurbished hard drives are just repurposed drives. Mileage does vary, but used drives will almost always fail before new drives.

    IT IS A opened DELL HDD

    The item came with a label "Dell" The connector has traces of connection to the server. This is not a 100% new product in unopened packaging. At least it was tested.
