    It really is 'As Good As It Gets'

    It's rare over the past 92 years for a film to garner both Best Actor (Jack Nicholson) and Best Actress (Helen Hunt) Oscars, and especially not to also win the Best Picture award (it did win the Golden Globe). This film did it. Don't forget the remarkable supporting performances of Greg Kinnear and Cuba Gooding, Jr. James L Brooks has mastered the winning formula for romantic dramedies, and "As Good As It Gets" is his most brilliantly shining showpiece. The Blu-ray is crisp, with good color saturation and depth. The soundtrack misses nothing in every scene, and the dialog-heavy script is stable and clear. No disappointments. Get it, and watch it anytime you need an escape from the blandness, the frustration, the drudgery...the normal. Simply marvelous. *****

    A wonderful movie of how opposites can attract. And about how to deal with life and it's situations and accepting who you are and moving forward. It's an absolute delight of a romantic comedy and drama presented in such a thoughtful way enveloping different characters and how they interlope into each other's lives and absolute delight. With some great dialogue and lines...
