    Reliable Version

    I enjoy reading the New American Standard Bible above other versions. I believe that it is a reliable translation of the original languages. I read other versions, but NASB is my go-to. I purchased this paper back copy to use in my classroom; it is a nice size and travels well.

    The Bible I received was not the Bible pictured in the add.

    If you are expecting to get a Bible with a cover as pictured in the add ? do not order this item. I was looking for this pictured Bible but I got a different Bible. Any Bible is a good Bible so I will keep the one they sent. I do not yet know if the content, the size of the text, or year printed edition variations inside the one I received is any different then the on pictured.

    Why I Bought The New American Standard Bible

    I purchased this Bible for my daughter. The Bible school teacher had one and she liked the readings from it. The old English language is beautiful,but is also hard to follow sometimes. The words used are more modern, thus easier to understand and read. The only thing I regret is that I bought a paperback. I wish I had gotten her a nice leather bound.

    Awesome book.

    This book is a very accurate translation from the King James Edition. Every passage I've compared is accurate with no important information left out. This book should replace your NIV Bibles. After directly comparing the two versions, (NIV and NASB) to the KJB, the NASB proved accurate. I know urge everyone who uses the NIV to compare their bible to the King James Version.

    Don't buy

    The Bible pictured is not what you will receive. You will get an ugly blue and yellow book. Some of the pages are badly glued together to where you have to unstick them to read the text and it was pretty wrinkled. I wouldn't have bought this for a quarter.
