Book came as described. A little disappointing the author had very different reactions to the groups I also saw at the Fillmore. He disliked Led Zeppelin ((calling Robert Plant their weak link) and Jethro Tull’s music was indistinguishable (really?) but then loved Iron Butterfly’s inna Godda Davida (my gang thought THE worst song of the 60’s- would laugh when radio played it) and he loved the Fugs. The Fugs!? Wow. Wonder why you never hear their music past 1969! I enjoyed the pics.

  • Vivid Memories of the Fillmore

In The Fillmore East, details regarding the Fillmore East are brought out in detail. From pictures to schedules, the day-to-day operations of the Fillmore East is shown. Plus, it is shown why the Fillmore East was one of the hippest places to be in the late 60's-early 70's. Well worth the read.
