About this product

Product Information

Based on official records and reports, relevant secondary sources, and observations of members of the Convention's implementary organ, The Convention on the Rights of the Child describes and evaluates the first international human rights treaty to deal specifically with the rights and freedoms of the child. Mower deals first with the significance, origin, and development of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, then describes and analyzes its substantative content, procedures, and mechanisms for the Convention's implementation. He concludes with an examination of the factors that are most likely to determine the rate of progress toward the realization of the convention's goals. Based on official records, relevant secondary sources, and observations of members of the Convention's implementary organ, the book will be of considerable use to scholars and researchers in the fields of human rights and children's welfare.

  • Very Helpful

I am relatively new to working out, and I have found that this book is a must when it comes to achieving my goals. With this tool you will see why it is important to work every muscle in order to obtain a healthy, stronger, more evenly toned body. It shows which tools you will need, how you will use them properly, and gives you a better overall understanding of fitness and your body. I would also suggest the Men's health Big Book of Exercises to go with this one. Very helpful.

  • great for beginners

Nice book for those individuals starting out, wanting to be in a better state of fitness. The equipment in this book is easy to get, easy to understand, and will point beginners in the right direction. Written in 2002, it was a little ahead of it's time, but used much of todays fitness technology for application. Would recommend this publication to anyone wanting to look and feel better - without going to a gym.

  • Very good book! Lots of advice

I really like this book. It gives great examples of individual workouts without any weights, or with dumbells or a barbell. It also gives suggestions for workout regiments. Great beginner's book and also for advanced. Good book to see how to workout without buying a gym.
