Ghosts are often the stuff of nightmares, but sometime they can be personable and kind. In the 1995 live action film 'Casper,' the friendly ghost of a boy inhabits a mansion with his three ghostly and rude uncles. There is a rumored treasure inside the mansion that the latest owner, a woman named Carrigan, wants to find. To get rid of her ghost problem, she hires a paranormal therapist who moves in with his daughter Kat. "Fits well in the vcr, but not the dvd player"..duh could it be because it's a vhs not a dvd..ok not only are they still reviewing the seller and the auction and not the movie, but now they have risen to a new level of stupidity..anyways onto my review of the movie..Casper is a fun film..I loved Casper as a child and feared they would ruin the whole storyline by making making this movie..was I ever wrong..first of all Casper did not change in anyway, second his sweetness was captured perfectly..Casper is a heartwarming story of a 12 year old boy who died too young and all he wants is a Friend..when he spots a pretty Girl Kat played by Christine Ricci on tv he devises a plan to lure her to the mansion he and his three disgusting Uncles are haunting..using the new owners greed to get his way ... Casper Captivates Kids
This Casper movie captivates kids because it mixes animated ghosts with real life actors. Some scenes are silly--but that's the point. Casper has ghost who are naughty and he tries to be a good ghost. It is sweet and not too scary.

I bought this movie because it was kids movie. It was priced right. Views great! Not much more i can say about it. It fits well into the vcr. Not so great in the dvd player. My child tried.

well it is a vhs but its all i could find of this movie. But i bought it for my grandson graduation it was our favorite movie when he was a toddler.
