  • Collectible Glassware from the 40's 50's 60's

This used book (3rd edition, 1995) has detailed descriptions and great color photos of 67 patterns of collectible glassware from a variety of manufacturers. Manufacturers represented are Jeannette, Westmoreland, Anchor Hocking and Fire-King, Fostoria, A.H. Heisey, Hazel Atlas and Hazel Ware, Cambridge, Indiana, Imperial, Fenton, Federal, New Martinsville & Viking (listed in order of appearance). As a novice in collectible glassware, I learned a great deal and enjoyed the book, and it will be useful for identification. As an older volume, it doesn't include current prices and some collectibility may have changed over time. It is not encyclopedic but rather shows variety and sampling of the makers and patterns of the era 40's, 50's, 60's. I'd recommend it as a reference; and would advise ...

  • Great book for new and seasoned collectors, alike!

Wow! This book helped me identify a half dozen things I've held on to for years! Fantastic value. You could recover the cost of this book with one sweep of your china cabinet!

  • Collectible Glassware from the 40s 50s 60s

A very informative book with a lot of pictures showing samples of glassware from this time period - 40s 50s 60s. This was an older book (1995) but is timeless since it's not exactly reviewing glassware from the 2000's. I bought it to get some guidelines as far as the value of glassware and to see what to look for. It's a good value over buying the book new.

  • Useful Reference Book for 1940s-60s Glass - Many Photos

This is a very good book for buyers, sellers and collectors of mid century glass. It has lots of great photos and useful information and is a terrific reference book!

  • Collectible Glassware 40 50 60S

Most all pictures are full page color. The write ups are very helpfull. It's just a good book that I found by chance! We love it !!!!!!!!
