    Worth Every Penny & One of the Best Food Processors Available!

    This machine exceeds my expectations! It operates so smoothly and is very powerful. You rarely find a machine with this much power. I love that it has 2 very different sized bowls. It really expands the list of things you can do with it. I know this machine will last for years without problems and will make my cooking tasks so much easier. Getting it for a great price is icing on the cake. I'm very happy I got this machine!

    Lid fails about every 12-months even with light use

    The FP-12 is a great, top-of-the-line EXPENSIVE food processor that is built like a tank EXCEPT the lid, which is the achilles heel of the unit, specifically the seals inside - they tear, separate from the base (complicated series of tiny springs keep it in place) and the hard plastic ring breaks easily. So if you have the FP-12 then you need to replace the cover lid at least every other year when they invariably fail. Aside from poor durability, the design is lousy: it is a hassle to clean - hard to get into the crevices for soft foods and for harder foods it holds onto crumbs. It also has an odd locking mechanism.

    One of the best food processors on the market!

    I have been a Kitchen Aid food processor advocate for many years until now. I have discovered through my research and comparisons the Cuisinart FP- 12 cup food processor and I have been converted! This food processor is much better than my former Kitchen Aid food processor. The pour spout is great with no drips when pouring and you do not have to take out the blade when pouring for the blade will not fall out until you take it out with a slight flick of the wrist. When using liquids in the bowls there is no leaks for the bowls seal which prevents leaks. The double sized feed tubes are also great! One tube for large thing so you don't have to cut up as much and the smaller tube to slice say carrots or celery which holds them in place nicely giving very nice slices and speaking of slicing, ...

    Work Horse - Articulate and Deadly Quiet (Don't turn your back!)!

    Not having a 'home kitchen model' and have only used commercial grade Food Processors, I have to say that this item is really a great one! We decided to grow a garden and process our own organic foods (it is hard to find real 'quality' - non GMO - foods today). Using this processor has paid for itself and cut down on all preparation time for over 750 lbs of fresh fruits and vegetables. I want to invest in the additional attachments for it. This particular model is exceptional, quiet, hard working and makes easy work when slicing/cutting/chopping/pureeing hard (tough) vegetables. It is remarkable and I should mention that its' gentle with soft foods. It has quality craftsmanship; is an easy cleanup; and stands up well to dishwashing.     Two bowls, one hand operation…win/win!

    Bought this for a friend who recently had a stroke…I was hoping it will be operable with one hand, and I tested it this way. All the pieces click firmly into place and it was easy to clean by immersing in hot soapy water. The two bowls were the selling point, and the one-handed release on the handle are perfect. He will be able to use this all by himself. Thank you!
