Great viewing of an all-time great tv series, incredible prices.
The final season of the hit series of the 90's. Ever wish you could live forever? Well, the immortals in the series have that, but there is one drawback; they are out to take each other's head. Because the only way they can actually die, is to be decapitated. Then the winning immortal absorbs their energy, their power. There are a lot of martial arts scenes, and usually a swordfight leading to someone losing their head. Instead of the blood, there is blinging lightning and explosions from the energy exchange, called a "quickening". It is my favorite all time series. That's why I bought all six seasons on e-bay. Good, bad, & ugly
I have mixed feelings on this season. What's good is that it continues a good story from the end of season 5, and all episodes (in & of themselves) are good. And many special features. What's bad is there's only 13 episodes. A lack of Methos & Amanda. Many episodes were spent trying to find a female lead for a new show, all of which didn't get it. (It went to none of them.) What's ugly is David Abromowitz blaming Adrian Paul's acting, rather than accept that they did not put out the best Highlander episodes they could, so that he & we could be happy with stories that advance him. One episode had Duncan step out of character & let another immortal take vengeance on a mortal. Which he wouldn't do in another episode. The most ugly thin, however (spoiler alert) was making Tessa into an ... I have mixed feelings on this season. Last Season dud
This season finished my collection of all the Highlander serire. It was not as good as the other give seasons. To me they seem to run out of gas. I'm fact one episode didn't have any of the main characters in it at all. To me it was almost like they knew this was the last season let's hurry up and get this done so we can move on.

The highlander
would recommend this for anyone who likes action, adventure mixed with comedy and a great character list. This season was as good as the rest. Worth the money to get. We watch it over and over again and always find something else we missed before. highly recommended. Not at all antichristian which is what I have heard in the past. Respectful toward many religions as "holy ground" constitutes anyplace that is sacred to any religion and no judgements are made as far as I can tell. Would recommend caution with kids under 12; episodes have a lot of sex and some more violence than just sword fighting.would recommend this for anyone who likes action, adventure mixed with comedy and a great character list.
