Superb customer service, great website, completive prices from WheelAndSpoocket. I provided details about the item that I needed and they replied with the part that fit in 30 minutes. They later accepted an address correction before shipping. Item arrived early in perfect condition as advertised.

The item arrived as described and in perfect condition. There was an issue with the package tracking (USPS issue, not the seller), but the seller was responsive to my questions and followed up with them. I would buy from this seller again.

The item came a week late after some shipping issues. When I contacted the seller they were quick to respond and explain the situation. The situation was blamed on the carrier which I have to assume is true however I’m not sure how a carrier missing a scan would slow the shipment, just the communication of the shipment. Post contact the response was quick. The items came well packaged and secure and as described.

    Nice, bright tail light

Very good brightness and decent battery life, as noted in specs. A little learning curve for the on/off button and the flash program button as you have two dimensions of function covered here (frequency of flash and type of flash). Have a Planet Bike turbo flash that is a year old or so and this is a little brighter and certainly has more distinct, observable patterns to catch attention of drivers.

  • Top critical review

Bright but battery life kind of short.

Battery life seems extremely short after charging. I only get about 4 -6 hours on a charge even with it set on slow blink. OTOH, it is very bright and noticeable even in full daylight which is when I do most of my riding.

  • The Current Winner for Daylight Use

This is the clear winner for use in day light. The only other brand/models that are in the same league are the Niterider Solas' which are heavier, more expensive and far less flexible. Compared with the other Cygolite Hotshots: 1) 100 - from straight on this seems just as bright but off axis and from the side the 150 is much brighter. 2) 50 SL - the beam pattern is much more directed to the rear only. 3) Micro 30 - I like the size and simplicity of this model so it would be my pick for nighttime use. During the day the beam pattern is more spread out than the 50, but from straight back it looks like there's three distinct LED's that are far less attention-getting than the searing single beam from any of the other models. My only gripe is the single button used for brightness or flash rate ...

  • Great strobe features

I like the multiple flashing options, including strobe. This makes the light much more visible. Very bright. Easy to charge with USB.

  • The Hotshot Pro 150 is just right, not too much, not too little.

I keep trying others but keep coming back to this one. My little family has a small fleet of recumbent trikes that are tricky for motorists to see & recognize. The Hotshot 50's battery is too small and has no triple flash. The Hotshot 100's lens does not light up good enough in daylight, and features a USB mini outlet. The Hotshot 200 is just too much, and wastes battery. But the Hotshot 150 is just right, has triple flash, is bright enough in daylight, gets max battery life.
