This is a very plush, perhaps 1” thick, very fine Australian wool mattress cover. The top covers our standard king size bed perfectly. However, the elastic straps on the don’t reach the bottom of the mattress to secure it. Since it’s so thick, I went forward and made the bed. We’ve slept on it all week and it hasn’t budged. This would cost a lot more stateside. It is a terrific value and arrived in a timely manner. I highly recommend this merchant and the product.
