  • Awesome! Blast from the past.

Pristine Condition, Received it in record time and it was packaged with caring hands! My Dad was a great fan of this gorgeous and talented woman. He wanted me named after her and my Mom wanted to spell it the American way. The name is pronounced the same in German as in America. Therefore, mine is spelled Marlaina and hers is spelled Marlene!

  • Marlene Dietrich by Maria Riva (1993)

This is a fairly long book. Thus far, I find the style of writing and photographs very informative and entertaining. It is the first book I have read regarding Ms. Dietrich but for a first book (or a second, or third...) I would highly recommend it.

  • Might be a shock for fans!

I have no doubt that her daughter's account is true, and I'm glad Marlene wasn't MY mom! Interesting snippets about other actors in the golden days of Hollywood.
