    Great book.Julia Ecklar reads it in the features of ST2

    Gives the history and an in-depth look at the most revered and difficult test of Starfleet, the Kobayashi Maru. Shows how the senior oficers of the original series demonstrated their not only what they learned in starfleet, but what makes them who they are. A great buy. If you own the two disc edition of Wrath of Kahn, the author describes the book and the significance it has on the Star Trek Universe in the Special Features.

    It Explains Alot!!

    After watching Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan and seeing the Kobayashi Maru test in action as well as hearing about how James T. Kirk dealt with the exam, I looked forward to reading this book with great anticipation. I was not disappointed! THis book takes you through the command crews' experience with the exam (Kirk, Sulu, Chekov, and Mr. Scott) while they, and Dr. McCoy, are trapped on a damaged shuttlecraft. THis book would make an excellent Star Trek movie!!
