    Great Polymer Clay Instuctional Book aka Sculpey Fimo

    Great, easy-to-read informational and instructional book on polymer clays. Contains bright full color pictures. Explains the many types of clays on the market: Cernit, FIMO, Friendly Clay, Granitex, Promat, Sculpey III, Super Sculpey, & Sculpey/Polyform. Gives guidelines and hints for surfaces, tools, work area, textures, colors and shapes. Also advises on how to bake, which glues to use, finishing projects and clean up. One of the best features in this book are the color mixing charts and instructions for custom colors. Then, this book goes on with projects for those with no skills to those with much experience. 10 projects in all. The pictures show more items than the book gives instructions for. I believe the author's intent was to inspire the reader to make more items, once ...

    Good information, good book.

    I bought this book because I love polymer clay and wanted to learn to do more with it. It contains a good bit of information......some I already knew from other books and some I did not. I enjoy learning new things, both with polymer clay and things I've not tried before. This book goes into new things, but could have gone into greater detail about what they are teaching. You would expect a book called "new ways" would teach more and/or more "new" things. I'm not sory I bought it and have enjoyed it.

    It was a gift, I didn't read it...I gave it away to someone. I'm sure they loved it, but I can't write a review for somrthing I didn't read.
