America Has a New Classic Novel and Great Author!
Carolina author Ron Rash has written many excellent novels, poems and short stories, but "Masterpiece" is all that comes to mind when reflecting upon "Serena." "Serena" is to Ron Rash as "The Grapes of Wrath" is to John Steinbeck. Whether you like historic fiction, a deep work that can be analyzed, or just want a great story to read, this has it all. Set in the timber country of Appalachian North Carolina during the Great Depression, you'll instantly be sucked into this modern classic. It's set for release as a major motion picture this fall starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, but I urge you to be one of those folks who sees the movie because you read the book first. It's not just a one-time read, either, for those of you who like great literature. You can read it many times, ...
